Jessica Lappin
Jessica Lappin - Made of Honor
Carol and Jess have been friends since 1999, when Carol wandered into Silverado's in Nashville during a road trip. What seemed like just another fun night at a honky-tonk turned out to be the beginning of a lifelong friendship. More than 25 years later, they've survived Army deployments, countless road trips, a few boyfriends, an ex-husband or two (Jess, we're looking at you!), more questionable decisions than either of them will ever admit to, endless laughter, and enough drinks to keep a honky-tonk in business. Who would've guessed that one random night in Nashville would turn into a friendship that's outlasted relationships, distance, and time? Some friendships are just meant to be—and this one has been one heck of a ride.
Lisa Scovil
Lisa Scovil - Bridesmaid
Lisa and Carol met in the early 2000s at the Eagles Club through mutual friends. What started as a casual friendship quickly turned into a lifelong travel partnership fueled by adventure, laughter, and the occasional "What could possibly go wrong?" From road trips to unforgettable vacations, they've proven that the best journeys aren't about the destination—they're about having the right partner in crime along for the ride.
Lyndsey Tupy (Powers)
Lyndsey Tupy (Powers) - Bridesmaid
I first met Lyndsey while I was working at the hockey rink. Jeff and Lyndsey stopped by to say hello to some friends, and before long, they somehow kept finding reasons to come back during other games. Funny how that works... It didn't take long for me to notice that Lyndsey had a healthy dose of sass. She always knew exactly what she thought and had no problem letting her dad know. As Jeff and I started seeing each other, Lyndsey quickly became his unofficial dating coach. One of her first rules? Maybe don't make your first date a family outing. Looking back... she had a point! Over the years, I had the privilege of watching that funny, sassy young girl grow into an incredible woman with a huge heart, an infectious smile, and a knack for keeping her dad on his toes. Lyndsey may have started out as Jeff's daughter, but somewhere along the way she became my bonus daughter, too. I didn't just fall in love with Jeff—I got the added bonus of gaining an amazing daughter, and I couldn't be happier about the package deal. Turns out, saying "yes" to Jeff was the best two-for-one deal I could've ever imagined.
Mike Fox, Jr. (aka Fox)
Mike Fox, Jr. (aka Fox) - Best Man
Jeff and Fox have been partners in crime since meeting at SNET in the mid-to-late '90s. Their friendship was forged through legendary parties at Mike's house, a shared obsession with cars, camping, and dirt bikes—and one particularly memorable adventure that ended with both of them getting arrested in Meriden for illegally riding ATVs. Some friendships are built on trust... theirs was built on horsepower, campfires, and questionable decisions that make for great stories today!
Mike Fox, Sr. (aka Pop)
Mike Fox, Sr. (aka Pop) - Groomsman
Jeff met Pop thanks to a random stop at Fox's house, and what started as a casual introduction quickly turned into a lifelong friendship—and a second father-son relationship. They bonded over cooking, fishing, and Jeff's trout deliveries back when he worked at the hatchery. But Pop didn't just share fish stories—he shared life lessons. If something broke, Pop's philosophy was simple: Why buy a new one when you can spend three hours fixing the old one? Thanks to him, Jeff learned how to repair just about anything, make homemade wine, and appreciate the value of rolling up his sleeves. Throw in countless camping trips with the kids, plenty of laughs, and more than a little good-natured advice, and it's easy to see why Pop became such an important part of Jeff's life. Some people become family by birth... others earn the title one repaired machine, one bottle of wine, and one camping trip at a time.
Shane Powers
Shane Powers - Groomsman
Shane is Jeff's future son-in-law (officially joining the family in December 2026), but he's been part of the crew for years. Jeff first met Shane when he was just a freshman in high school, volunteering at the hatchery to help deliver trout. Little did anyone know that those trout deliveries would also deliver him straight into Lyndsey's life. Over the years, Jeff has had the privilege of watching Shane grow from a hardworking teenager into the man he is today—from competing on the bass fishing circuit to tackling farming adventures with cows, sheep and countless hay bales, making maple syrup, and somehow always finding another project to take on. These days, Shane serves as an Animal Control Officer in Newtown, a job that's a perfect fit for someone who loves animals, isn't afraid of hard work, and has more patience than most. Jeff also deserves a little credit... or blame... for talking Shane into buying his first Harley. It also happened to be his last Harley, because Shane eventually traded it in for a fishing boat. In the end, you can take the motorcycle away from a fisherman, but you can't take the fisherman out of Shane. Needless to say, Jeff couldn't be happier to officially welcome Shane into the family—although he still thinks the Harley would've looked pretty good in the garage.
